Zig and Zag, quilt for lap or wall by Edi’s Quilts
The blocks in this quilt are simply two large triangles, one striped and one a solid color, in six different color combinations. The blocks are then arranged in an asymmetrical zigzag across the quilt. An example of the fact that a simple design can be quite effective. Quilting is done with a variegated thread and follows the zigs and zags. The binding is done on the bias using one of the striped fabrics.
A square quilt, it measures 55 inches on each side. The batting is a very stable 80/20 cotton/poly blend. Washable on delicate cycle, tumble dry.
This quilt would be great to curl up with in your easy chair, or drape over the sofa for a color accent, or to keep in the car as a travel blanket. An unobtrusive hanging sleeve is attached to the back for easy mounting on a wall, and it can also become a table topper.
