About the Gallery

Founded in 1987 Chimera Gallery is a showplace for Lopez artists and artisans, providing a central location in Lopez Village for the display and sale of their quality fine art and crafts. The gallery differs from what you might be used to, in that it is run cooperatively. Each working member contributes to its functioning and upkeep, including working a couple days per month as a salesperson.

We encourage you to take a moment and peruse our website. We hope that you are inspired by our art, as we are inspired by the year-round beauty, peacefulness, and storms of these San Juan Islands.
