Mussel Shoals - This is an original painting done in Egg Tempera on textured paper, mounted to board. It is a semiabstract view of mussels seen attached to a dock piling on Lopez Island. I took a great deal of artistic license in my interpretation of them.
The painting is 8"x10", and is mounted in a handmade Koa wood frame (see detail), made by Bruce Creps. It has a linen liner, and no glass, which is not necessary for Egg Tempera.
