Mt. Baker #5 by Edi’s Quilts
Mt. Baker as seen while riding on the ferry. A summer scene with bright water and the passage through the islands in the foreground, and Mt. Baker rising behind the foothills. Top and bottom borders are an intricate woven ribbon. Side borders and binding are an old gold print. The sky is quilted in a meander stitch, the Salish Sea in watery ripples. The colorful back is what is called a cheater quilt, fabric printed to look like a quilt square. The batting is a very stable 80/20 cotton/poly blend. The piece measures 20” by 16 ¾”. Washable on delicate cycle, tumble dry.
