EDI BLOMBERG
QUILTER
Edi started sewing as soon as her mother would trust her at the sewing machine and never stopped.
Although she made a few quilts for family in the 1970s, it was this century, when the time to retire approached, before she really got going with quilts. Sometimes she follows traditional patterns, sometimes she bends the rules, sometimes she designs her own pieces. The world is full of possible quilt designs wherever one looks.
The lap quilts and many of the table runners have hanging sleeves so that they could easily decorate a wall.
