Table runner in white and several reproduction pastels, wild geese pattern by Edi’s Quilts
Pastels, (mostly greens, blues and pinks) and white triangles in the Wild Geese pattern are the central feature of this table runner. Narrow green strips separate these "geese" from outer columns of diagonal lines and also become the border. Over all, the color scheme gives a summery look to the piece. The back is the same pastel green as the border. Quilting unobtrusively follows the patchwork pattern on the "geese" and is more visible on the green strips.
Dimensions are 11.5 by 42.5 inches. It was made as a table runner, but a hanging sleeve has been attached to one end so that it can also be used as a wall hanging. Top and backing are cotton. The batting is a very stable 80/20 cotton/poly blend. Machine washable on delicate cycle, tumble dry.
