About the Artist: TINA FINNERAN
Tina has been a beader since the early 1970's, when she was in high school in Albuquerque N.M. In the 1980's she spent 10 years, sailing, working and exploring the islands of the South Pacific. Much of her work is influenced by the rich cultures of that area as well as her love of the sea. After moving to Lopez Island in 1990, she began learning the techniques of silversmithing from several local artists. Recently she has begun experimenting with a Korean gold -on- silver process, as well as etching and roll printing metals for a variety of textures. Her website address is:www.lopezislandjewelry.com
