About the Artist: Lane Langford
When I first moved to Lopez in 2000, I was consumed by the awesome beauty surrounding me. The light here is tangible, both in its stark contrast and gentle, vivid colors. I picked up a paintbrush 2 years ago and was driven to try and understand what I was feeling and seeing. I love acrylics: detail combined with impresion. The paintings you see represent my hope that through them, you may feel the air and touch the light that is so special here.
